About Us

Providing Homes, Healing and Hope During the Holiday Season

Embrace Alabama Kids and Embrace Florida Kids began more than 135 years ago as an orphanage. Today, we are one of the most comprehensive and vital resources serving babies, children, youth, teen mothers, college students and families in Alabama and Northwest Florida.

Our Embrace Christmas campaign is the foundation for the support we raise to fulfill our mission statement: In response to God’s Word, we embrace and nurture vulnerable children and families by providing homes, healing and hope.

During the Christmas season, we provide churches with Embrace Christmas materials and other resources that share stories of hope and inspire congregations to support our children and families.
